New Kenosha Digestive Health Center Opens

[Kenosha, WI] – GI Associates and Ascension Wisconsin have announced the opening of Kenosha Digestive Health Center. The first of its kind in the Kenosha community, Kenosha Digestive Health Center combines a clinic and an ambulatory surgery center, creating one destination for patients to access comprehensive gastroenterology services. The clinic is operated by GI Associates, and an ambulatory surgery center, is jointly operated by Ascension Wisconsin and GI Associates.

“Ascension Wisconsin’s goal is to make care as convenient and cost-effective as possible for individuals throughout the community,” said Bernie Sherry, ministry market executive, Ascension Wisconsin. “We are excited to expand access to our services in Kenosha, creating greater value and providing patients care with closer to home.”

At Kenosha Digestive Health Center, gastroenterologists deliver personalized GI care, including colon cancer screenings and endoscopic procedures.

The opening of Kenosha Digestive Health Center is another solidification of our commitment to prioritizing exceptional care for our patients,” said Bob Kwech, Practice Administrator. “We understand that people have a choice when it comes to selecting their GI provider, so we are excited to continue to provide cost-effective options and comprehensive GI care all in one center.”

The 9,570 sq. ft. center cost $3 million and employs 15 associates and five physicians.

In addition to colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures, GI Associates’ provides in-office digestive health care for patients with a variety of gastroenterological issues, including:
