As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Anas Raed provides diagnosis and treatment for all digestive diseases and conditions. He is skilled at performing EGD/upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr. Raed completed his medical education at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. He went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University for both residency and fellowship training. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the American College of Gastroenterology (AGC).
Throughout his career, Dr. Raed has received multiple awards including the Georgia Gastroenterologic & Endoscopic Society (GGES) Resident Research Award and multiple newsworthy and hot topic abstract awards.
In his free time, Dr. Raed enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, traveling and running.
