Jamal A. Qureshi, MD

A Milwaukee native, Dr. Jamal A. Qureshi provides quality care to all patients in a warm and compassionate manner with the goal of building long-term patient-physician relationships.

As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Qureshi provides diagnosis and management of all gastrointestinal diseases with a special interest in general gastrointestinal disorders, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer prevention. He is skilled at performing colonoscopy, EGD and capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Qureshi completed his medical education at Saba University in the Dutch Caribbean. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee. After 4 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor with University Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, he returned to the University of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals to pursue a fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Qureshi is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

In his free time, Dr. Qureshi enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and watching sports.
