Julia A. Leo, DO

Julia A. Leo, DO, uses a practical and holistic approach for the improvements in gastrointestinal disease.

As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Leo specializes in digestive health care including the diagnosis and management of all gastrointestinal diseases. She treats patients experiencing constipation, GERD and functional GI diseases including irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Leo has a special interest in women’s GI health. She is skilled at performing colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, capsule endoscopy and hemorrhoid banding.

Dr. Leo earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Des Moines University in Iowa. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Leo is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the Milwaukee GI Society.

In her free time, Dr. Leo enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
