Aaron C. Baltz, MD, follows the golden rule of medicine – he takes care of patients the way he would want himself or his family members taken care of.
As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Baltz provides the spectrum of digestive health care to patients including colon cancer screening. He is skilled at colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD) and ERCP.
Dr. Baltz earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Humanism in Medicine Award his senior year. Dr. Baltz went on to complete his residency and fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He is board certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Baltz has published and presented several medical articles in nationally recognized journals and at conferences. He is a member the American Gastrointestinal Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Wisconsin Medical Society (WMS) and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Dr. Baltz has been honored as one of the, “Best Doctors in America,” for multiple years.
In his free time, Dr. Baltz enjoys spending time with his family, reading, working out and watching sports.
