Melissa J. Palmer, PA-C

Melissa J. Palmer, PA-C, approaches the care of her patients with compassion, respect and understanding. She believes the provider and the patient are a team with the common goal of helping the patient stay healthy and feel well.

As a physician assistant, Melissa treats a variety of GI symptoms and conditions including GERD, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatitis, cirrhosis, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), pancreatitis, GI dysmotility and more. When not seeing patients, Melissa serves as the Director of Advanced Practice Providers for GI Associates.

Melissa completed her Physician Assistant program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA) and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends. She also enjoys outdoor activities and a variety of sports.
