Lauryn Firkus, RN, BSN, APNP, is an advocate for her patients, providing the same care that she would provide her own family.
As a nurse practitioner, Lauryn provides digestive health care for patients experiencing acid reflux disease and inflammatory bowel diseases including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Lauryn earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Lauryn in a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, the Milwaukee Nurse Practitioner Organization and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has co-authored several publications on probiotics.
In her free time, Lauryn loves running trail marathons, hiking and traveling. She does the Birkebeiner Classic cross country ski race in the Winter and has run “rim to rim” from the North to the South rim of the Grand Canyon.
