Asad Jehangir, MD
Gastroenterologist
As a gastroenterologist, Asad Jehangir, MD, provides care for patients with all digestive health conditions including GERD and GI motility disorders. He has special interest in providing esophageal manometry and colorectal cancer prevention. He is skilled performing colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD) procedures.
Dr. Jehangir earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, and completed his residency at Reading Hospital Tower Health, Reading, PA. He went on to complete a fellowships in Gastroenterology as Chief Fellow at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University in Augusta, GA, as well as a fellowship in Gastrointestinal Motility at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Jehangir is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
Dr. Jehangir has over 50 publications with more than 600 citations. He has presented Presidential Posters at ACG research meetings and Posters of Distinction at the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) research meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Jehangir enjoys spending time with family, working out, watching sports, cooking and traveling.
